I cannot recommend David highly enough! I am an extremely anxious person and also have ADHD, so learning to drive was something I found incredibly daunting. From the very first lesson, David was so patient, understanding, and supportive.

He made me feel comfortable and never once made me feel embarrassed or discouraged, even when I doubted myself. David consistently encouraged me, guided me through every step, and never gave up on me — even when I felt like giving up on myself.

What stood out the most was how he tailored his teaching to suit my needs. He broke things down in a way I could easily understand, and his calm and reassuring presence helped ease my anxiety tremendously. There were times when I thought I would never pass my test, but David believed in me every step of the way.

Passing my driving test feels like a massive achievement, and I can honestly say it wouldn’t have been possible without David’s support, patience, and guidance. Thank you so much, David — you’ve truly changed my life! 🚗🎉

David was absolutely amazing! I had put of driving for years but finally took the plunge and booked the 25 hour course with Highway, my instructor was professional, very knowledgeable, friendly and patient, lessons were fun from start to finish and I passed my test first time, I don’t know why I waited so long to learn how to drive but I’m glad I went with Highway, I can’t recommend them highly enough, a 5 star review for a 5 star school, thank you

“My instructor was an absolute gentleman. Before choosing to learn with HIGHWAY, I had never sat in the drivers seat of a car so I was starting off completely fresh. My instructor was so helpful and welcoming and instantly made me feel at ease from day 1 even though I was extremely nervous. Within just a couple of days my instructor had me confidently out on the road and was very calm and patient with my learning. He’s not afraid to chat away and build a friendship with you and when you pass your test you definately come away feeling like you’ve made a friend. I would highly recommend HIGHWAY to everyone. “HIGHWAY are the best driving school I’ve found in Belfast – after trying 2 others in recent years and not making any progress, HIGHWAY got me a first time pass!

My instructor was an exceptional instructor and progress is made from the first lesson. HIGHWAY’s aim is to get you to test standard as soon as possible and no lesson time is wasted.

The lessons are very good value and HIGHWAY are flexible when you use them. My instructor was also very accommodating when I had to reschedule lessons due to work commitments and made sure I stayed on track to get ready for test day.

On the day itself, HIGHWAY ensured I was fully prepared for all aspects of the test and my instructor kept me relaxed and focused. This was in sharp contrast to other instructors, who appeared to remember they had forgotten to prepare their pupil for some aspects of the test on the way into the test centre!

“Big thank you to HIGHWAY driving. In 2 weeks They took me from never having driven to passing my test first time. Very good instructor who is calm and patient with you. Whilst it is hard work, I would definitely recommend one of his intensive driving courses if, like me, you wanted to get your lessons and test done in a short space of time such as the summer holidays. It does require quite the commitment for those couple of weeks but to have your licence after just a couple of weeks definitely made it worth it!”

“I highly recommend HIGHWAY driver training. My instructors guidance and his approach to driver training is fantastic. I booked a short intensive course (over a few weeks), took a long break over December and Jan and returned with a few top-up lessons before going on the practical test.
